Gather Together

When disaster strikes, you may not be able or desire to remain on your own.  If you have a group, you can congregate with and facilities that will accommodate a group of the desired size numbers can offer significant advantages.

Groups of size can provide benefit by:

• Pooling of Resources- Food, Fuel, Shelter, Security
• Protection in Numbers- a large group is less likely to be set upon than individuals or a small party. More people mean more to help watch and alert as well.
• Multiple Skill Sets in one location- ex. Medical, Security, Food Preparation, Communication

Be prepared physically and mentally to sustain yourself in prolonged periods of cohabitation with a large group.  You should have a way or means prepared to transport your limited belongings to the gathering site.  Be understanding and know that others may have been through as much or more than you have to get there and sacrifices to extreme degrees leaving tensions high and emotions close to the surface.
