The Area Coordinator works directly with and under the Emergency Operations Center as a liaison between the E.O.C. leadership and the rest of the plan.  The Area Coordinator relays instruction and details from the E.O.C. to the Zone Captains and consolidates report forms returned back again.

As needed, the Area Coordinator also coordinates with the Damage Control Center leadership to assign supplies, volunteer personnel, and volunteer equipment to area’s as deemed necessary from the initial and ongoing assessment and request forms.
